Privacy Policy
Tunelly is a VPN client. It does not operate VPN servers, sell access to any, or act as an intermediary for anyone who does. It connects to servers that you supply, using configurations you obtain elsewhere.
This policy exists to state plainly what the app does with your data. The short version: it collects nothing.
What we collect
Nothing.
There are no accounts, no sign-up, no email address, no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, no advertising identifier and no tracking of any kind. We operate no server that the app reports to, so there is nowhere for data about you to arrive.
We do not know who uses Tunelly, how many people use it, or when.
What the app stores on your device
All of the following stays on your device and is never transmitted to us:

Removing the app removes the preferences. Keychain items are removed when the app is deleted from the device.
Your traffic
While the tunnel is up, your network traffic is carried to the server named in the configuration you chose. That server is operated by whoever gave you the configuration — your provider, your organisation, or you.
Tunelly does not inspect, record, store, modify or forward that traffic anywhere else. No browsing history, no DNS queries, no connection timestamps and no bandwidth figures are collected by us, because there is no "us" in the data path: the traffic goes from your device to your server.
What your server operator can see is between you and them. If you did not set up that server yourself, ask them for their policy.
Network requests the app makes
The app makes network requests in exactly three situations, all of them to addresses you provided:

Fetching a subscription. A request to the
subscription URL you added, to download the current server list. It
carries a
User-Agentand, when the panel requires one for device counting, an identifier derived fromidentifierForVendor— an Apple-provided value that is specific to this app on this device, resets when the app is deleted, and identifies no person. That value goes only to the panel you added, never to us. - Measuring latency. Short connections to the servers in your own list, started when you press the measure button.
- The tunnel itself. Traffic to the server you selected.
The app contacts no other host. It has no telemetry endpoint.
Third parties
There are none. No SDKs that collect data are embedded in the app. Nothing is shared, sold or disclosed, because nothing is collected.
Children
Tunelly is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Requests to access, correct, export or delete personal data are supported by having none: we hold no personal data about you to act upon. Data stored on your device is under your control and is deleted by deleting the app.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it and the new text is published at tunelly.com/privacy. Material changes will be noted in the app's release notes.
