Terms of Use
These terms are the licence agreement for the Tunelly app. Installing or using the app means accepting them. They incorporate Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement where it applies; where the two differ, the stricter obligation on us applies.
1. What Tunelly is
Tunelly is a VPN client. It reads configurations you provide and establishes a tunnel to the servers those configurations name.
Tunelly is not a VPN service. We operate no servers, sell no access, resell no access, and have no commercial or technical relationship with the operators of the servers you connect to. The app is a tool, in the same sense that a mail client is a tool and is not a mail provider.
2. What you need to bring
To use the app you need a server configuration: a subscription address from a provider, a share link, or a configuration file for a server you run yourself. Obtaining one is your responsibility, and so is everything about it — availability, speed, cost, and the conduct of whoever runs it.
3. Acceptable use
You agree to use Tunelly only for lawful purposes and in accordance with the laws that apply to you. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of a VPN, and your use of the specific servers you connect to, is lawful where you are.
You may not use the app to attack, disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any network or system.
4. No warranty
The app is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will connect successfully, that a connection will be uninterrupted, that any server in your list is reachable, or that a configuration you were given is correct or safe. Networks fail, providers disappear, and configurations expire; none of that is within our control.
Tunelly does not promise anonymity. A VPN moves the point at which your traffic enters the internet. It does not make you anonymous, and the operator of the server you chose can see the traffic you send through it.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
6. Privacy
The app collects nothing. See the Privacy Policy for the detail of what is stored on your device and why.
7. Changes and termination
We may update the app and these terms. Continued use after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. You may stop using the app at any time by deleting it.
